Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete boasts considerable social media following
The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, owns multiple international courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply stay calm."
"He practically advised me to compete and have fun," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and holds ranking 461 in AJGA standings.
However she's able to get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior person. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."
Kai will face multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai exposes the sport to wider groups, particularly among youth audiences.
The social media influencer boasts a massive following and just introduced her own apparel and wellness brand.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
