Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the jet's front window, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The aircraft touched down based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer commented in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence does not mark the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
